The sorcerer Rii and his apprentice Raberu reside in the hills on the outskirts of Geru, a town where many sorcerers dwell. Between Rii steering clear of the town and his eccentricities, it may not be the most interesting home life, but Raberu fills his days by going to school and learning about magic. But who is Rii, the strict and kind sorcerer, and why is he watching over Raberu?

At first, there was only Winter. But this lonely existence was too much for them to bear, so Winter split off part of themself to bring forth Spring. (This manga is unusual amongst Kanako Inuki's manga due to the highly exaggerated gore (and emphasis on it) compared to her usual manga)A gruesome picture book-like manga. The cover was originally considered to be so gorey it was censored with a special dust jacket.
