A short story published in the October 2011 issue of the fashion magazine Spur, in which the mangaka mixes advertising for Gucci products with a little supernatural flavour courtesy of Kishibe Rohan and his grandmother's old traveling bag.  

After enduring cruelty from his classmates, Sakurada Jun shuts himself away, preferring to live in solitude. Just when he thought he'd found peace in seclusion, a mysterious box disrupts his world, revealing the enigmatic Shinku—a living doll from the legendary Rozen Maiden collection. Shinku is beautiful yet demanding, and instantly declares that Jun shall be her new servant. Before he can wrap his head around the unusual events, they're attacked! Yuki Izumi's Tribal Gear, which first began serialization in Online Manga e-manga, and later published in print for the first time in Mandala Issue #01, continued publication in 2007 in Morning 2. What exists in the head of author Yuki Izum is this enormous variety of unique characters occupying an infinite void of space. This work is a skivit, so to speak, of an overall larger piece. Ostrakon means a piece of broken pottery. It's a fragment, which invites an endless fantasy of assumptions toward the piece's original shape, and that kind of soft, whispering beauty wafts about this work. One is led to wonder when the entirety of the world of Tribal Gear will be revealed or how far the reader will want to be chased until the end has been told.

Mappa-Douji - Is a manga created by Japanese mangaka Hiroyuki Takei. It is one chapter long and is the tale of Hao Asakura, a Shaman King character, as a child 1000 years ago. In this original incarnation, his name is Asaha Douji. He was named after his mother, Asano Ha, who was killed by humans for being a yokai who could see and speak with demons. After his mother's death, Asaha is left with no home and no family. He meets and befriends a demon named Ohachiyo who renames him Mappa Douji (Demon Child), to avoid confusion between his and his mother's similar names, as the kanji could be pronounced both ways. Ohachiyo teaches Mappa Douji many things, and towards the end of the story he gives Mappa Douji the demonic power of reading minds, the beginning of Hao's powerfully and dangerously gifted mind. It is not told in this story, but in the main Shaman King manga, Hao later becomes an onmy?ji, which is a hint that Hao's fictional life may be based on the Japanese legend of Abe no Seimei, a famous onmy?ji whose mother was also rumoured to be a yokai.
